About Lariat
Founder Katherine Jones, CPHR, created Lariat HR Consulting as a solution to the problems she saw with smaller businesses interacting with challenging HR Issues.
In past roles, Katherine Jones has led transformational initiatives which impacted the organizations' performance in a wide range of human resources measures.
As a proven leader, she has positively influenced labour relations, employee attraction and retention, engagement, diversity & inclusion, innovation, safety performance, coaching and training, leadership development, collaboration within and across teams, organizational effectiveness, and corporate visibility as industry leaders.
Her ability to set direction, lead and engage teams, and influence change is enhanced with strong organizational acumen, communication, analytical skills, and her ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders. Katherine focuses on ensuring continuity of best practices and successful exploration and implementation of new opportunities for improved performance.
When she’s not putting out fires for clients, Katherine enjoys spending time on her property in the Foothills of Alberta with her dogs and horses.
